A better experience

Friends,

At the beginning of this year, I made a commitment to you all that Force Acres would adopt some features aimed at improving our compliance adherence, enhancing our security, and delivering a better client experience. This very letter represents the first step to deliver on that promise, along with some other steps outlined below. It is my hope that this format will allow communication and information to flow a bit easier and more regularly without becoming overbearing.

I expect to send regular letters, keeping you abreast of the things you won’t find in the headlines and perhaps some commentary to help you make sense of what you do read. The topics will range from finance to health to technology, and cover items within our ecosystem and beyond. And as always, I welcome your feedback.

Can I get your digits?

Effective immediately, Force Acres officially has a new business phone number. The new number is (830) 302-4304. Please add it to your phone.

The primary driver behind this new number is compliance and security. Regulatory oversight in our industry now requires strict archiving and documentation of all text message correspondence with clients. To meet these rigorous standards without adding friction to your day, I have brought on a specialized security service that handles our text traffic through this centralized line.

I am asking all of you to help me remain fully compliant by using this new number for all future text messages. Please know that these texts will be retained for our secure records and will be monitored by our internal staff so we can get back to you faster.

For voice conversations, nothing has to change. You are still more than welcome to call our core lines directly. However, if you choose to call this new business number, it will route directly to someone on the team and will likely generate a faster response. While I didn't hire a front-desk receptionist, our team remains fiercely committed to returning your calls as quickly as possible—usually within a couple of hours, and never later than the next business day.

You can buy this space

A few of you have inquired about participating in the upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO) of aerospace giant SpaceX. Wall Street is projecting an astronomical valuation near $1.75 to $2 trillion, making this the most talked-about financial event of a generation. Because headlines are popping up daily, I want to address how I view this transition and how it impacts your capital.

First, you should know that Force Acres is built on comprehensive financial planning and broad asset allocation, not individual stock speculation. Therefore, we have no stance on whether you should or should not own it. Typically, my only recommendation as it relates to SpaceX or any stock is that you should avoid becoming overconcentrated in any single position. If you have questions or concerns about how that would fit into your portfolio and personal plan, then please schedule some time for us to talk.

Because single-stock positions are simply not a part of our investment policy, we do not have a standing IPO agreement with Charles Schwab or any custodian. If your goal is to purchase individual shares of SpaceX directly at the IPO launch, the most efficient route is to do so through a personal discount brokerage account. Independent firms like mine do not receive direct, highly speculative retail allocations from the major Wall Street investment banks handling the flotation, so managing single-stock positions through an outside personal brokerage gives you all direct control over your timing and entry price. You can learn more about that process on Schwab’s retail side here, but please be encouraged to explore other custodians as well.

Alternatively, there is an opportunity to gain SpaceX exposure prior to the IPO through a mutual fund that owns some privately-held shares. While I cannot make a blanket recommendation to all portfolios, feel free to reach out to me if this is something that interests you. You can email us OR use our new business phone number. 🙂

Rocky market high

Lastly, let’s take a quick step back from the daily headlines to provide a grounded, data-driven "reality check" on how the broader markets are actually performing compared to the economic sentiment you feel at the grocery store or gas pump. Here is where the numbers actually stand as we hit roll into June:

Economic Indicator

YTD Change (Estimated)

What It Actually Means for You

S&P 500 Index

+8.4%

Corporate earnings remain remarkably resilient despite sustained higher interest rates.

Core Consumer Price Index (CPI)

+3.1%

Inflation is flattening out, though everyday costs remain at their new baseline.

10-Year Treasury Yield

4.25%

Fixed income yields are holding strong, consistently benefiting our conservative portfolios.

Local Corridor Real Estate Index

+4.8%

Our local Texas equity remains highly stable and insulated from national volatility.

Data Sources: Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) and S&P Dow Jones Indices current as of mid-2026.

The Takeaway: The structural foundation remains solid. While the news cycles love to amplify short-term volatility to capture headlines, a disciplined, index-based strategy continues to do exactly what it was designed to do: protect and grow your family's long-term purchasing power.

I am proud to navigate these shifting markets alongside you all. Enjoy the beautiful start to your June, update our number in your phones, and stay cool out there, friends.
